Gretchen + Jeremiah came over for dinner Friday night
and so graciously allowed me to play photographer with them.
I am far from any good at this and the proof was in the fact that only 15 out of 300 turned out. Who knew it would be so difficult to get the focusing just right. I have plenty of photos where the background is perfectly crisp and they are blurred.
These first 2 are in black and white because I forgot to check my camera settings and they ended up being overexposed from the lighting in this side of our yard.
But then, a few good shots come along, like these.
The next 3 are straight out of camera (SOC) and I love the halo of light through the branches.
I wish we had gotten outside by 6:30, instead of 7:00. We could have had a lot more like these, to choose from, but the sun was going down fast and clouds kept obscuring it.
For what it's worth, my Cannon Rebel XTi was set on AV mode at 2.5 ISO 200.
I love these two! They are such a fun couple.

Just posted about the voting. They won by 6% last night, but the votes from the other site (that closed) early, still need to be added in. My gut tells me they won, but we have to wait for the call that should come before 5pm today. Ugh...
